ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Loc Nguyen, a software developer with a passion for creative coding. My love for programming started at a young age and has only grown stronger over time. I believe that coding is a form of art, where all you need is a notepad and the world becomes your canvas. This passion eventually led me to pursue a career in software development, and I've been working hard to expand my skill set ever since.

I have a strong foundation in a variety of programming languages, including Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and C++. I've also gained experience in developing web applications and working with databases. My education, combined with my passion for learning new technologies, has allowed me to become an overall better software developer.

In my free time, I love to tinker with new technologies and keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in software development. I'm always looking for new opportunities to challenge myself and grow as a programmer.

Heart Risk Prediction Calculator

This project uses a logistic regression machine learning algorithms and user inputs to calculate heart disease risk, utilizing technology such as Python and various data analysis libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and scikit-learn.

Package Sorting System

A Python based software solution that attempts to solve the Traveling Salesman Problem and optimizes delivery routes for packages by using a combination of Nearest Neighbor Algorithm and Greedy Algorithm to sort and organize packages onto trucks with the most minimal delivery distance.

Appointment Scheduler System

This Java application is a GUI-based appointment scheduling desktop application built with JavaFX and connected to a local MySQL database. The program includes features such as appointment booking, customer management, and reporting.

Inventory Management System

A desktop application built with JavaFX and help manage inventory for a small business. The program includes features such as product management, part management, and reporting.

Class Roster

A simple C++ program that read in a data list containing informations about students then using various function calls to manipulate the data and print out the results.

E-Commerce Website

A fully functional e-commerce website built with JavaScript + HTML + CSS + MySQL Database + REST API with Java and Spring Boot.

Product Landing Page

A simple landing page for a handmake phone case company built with HTML + CSS + Bootstrap

Customer Survey Form

One of the very first project I work on, a static survey form built with vanilla HTML + CSS for an airline company.
